Since the beginning of 2026, our Activity Centre has been delivering structured, meaningful programs designed to enhance participants’ overall NDIS lifestyle not only mentally, but also socially and physically.

Our approach focuses on holistic development, ensuring that every activity supports individual goals while promoting independence, wellbeing, and community connection. These programs will continue throughout the year as part of our ongoing commitment to empowering participants in all areas of life.

A Holistic Approach to Skill Development

At our centre, activities are carefully planned to align with participant goals under the NDIS framework. Each program is designed to build practical life skills, strengthen social confidence, improve emotional wellbeing, and enhance physical health.

Below are the key activity streams that have shaped our program since the beginning of the year and will continue throughout 2026.

Life Skills & Social Expression

(Cooking & Karaoke)

This program combines practical independence training with creative self-expression.

Participants develop everyday cooking skills, including meal preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene practices. Alongside this, karaoke sessions encourage confidence, communication, and emotional expression in a supportive group environment.

Life Skills & Nature Engagement

This stream connects healthy living with hands-on outdoor experiences. Participants practise following instructions and making healthy food choices while also engaging in gardening activities such as planting, watering, and caring for herbs and flowers.

Physical Wellbeing & Movement

Physical health is an essential component of overall independence. Through supported sports, movement sessions, stretching, and coordination activities, participants improve balance, strength, and physical confidence.

Through structured board games, group activities, and interactive sessions, participants strengthen communication skills, practise turn-taking, and develop problem-solving abilities.

Sensory Craft & Life Skills

Creative workshops such as candle making and other sensory-based crafts allow participants to explore textures, colours, and scents while developing fine motor skills and creativity. Participants take pride in completing projects and sharing their achievements.
